At St. Peter's we believe that our classrooms are a safe, communal space that allows for engagement, inquiry and conversation.
Our teachers understand that this is a shared space, owned by all in which the children collaboratively design and create spaces
which reflect their learning needs and wants.

We understand that our classrooms can act as another tool for learning and that our rooms display a celebration of the products
developed and processes undertaken by the children. Beyond our room, learning also takes place in other spaces and areas of the
school as well as in the community and at home. We work together to develop a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming,
interactive open and supportive of differences.

The children in these rooms are encouraged to and supported to be active and responsible learners.
We constantly reflect and engage in conversation with the children to ensure our classrooms reflect our learners and meet their needs.
